Great confidence booster for open water swimming
"I'm not a big fan of swimming in open water, especially when that open water is Lake Michigan. It's murky, creepy as h*ell, and i'm pretty sure there's some things at the bottom of the lake that were meant to stay there and not be disturbed. But since most triathlons require open water swimming, and they haven't yet changed the rules to let me do my swim with an inner tube and a tropical cocktail, I needed something to get me through the practices. The Speed Hound Swim Buoy delivered. It's bright orange, so i know the lifeguards and boaters can see me. It goes easily around my waist and doesn't distract from the swim at all. The only times I've even noticed it was there were the times I panicked and went looking for it. It's easy to inflate and deflate. I haven't yet tried out the dry pocket, so can't speak to that. And as it states, it isn't a life jacket; this is not what you want if you can't swim. But if you want an easy-to-use inflatable to make your outdoor swims safer, the Swim Buoy is a great tool."

Great Product
"Works well to keep things dry and is helpful as a quick rest if need be. Used for ironman training and this made my family rest easier knowing I had something to be visible and offer a brief rest, which I needed for cramping on double training days."

Nice Buoy
"The one that I ordered through Amazon earlier this season is excellent. Has the high quality PVC and reinforced stitching. It appears as the newer one advertised here for 2020 that you are does not have that. Also, my phone pouch only got used a few times before the side cracked and started leaking and I have an older smaller phone so I know it's not from trying to shove a larger phone into the pouch. I ended up having to buy my phone phone pouch to put in the buoy. Buoy works great. I wish you were making more of the buoys like the one that I bought earlier this season. These newer ones look cheap and not as sturdy. Would give more stars if the phone pouch didn't leak and if you offered more buoys of the same quality for sale."

Works well for the over 65 set!
"Really helps me get into Gulf of Mexico when water is very choppy...so i can swim every day. I am 68 with severe spinal stenosis and the only exercise I can do is swim...and salt water Gulf of Mexico swimming is much healthier for me than the pool and I feel much better after a swim in the Gulf. I only swim about a half mile; but I swim alone so I need the speed hound in choppy water...let's me swim every day!! I recommend it to every one"
