Jen is a pro triathlete and mom, residing in Penticton, BC. Overcoming an epilepsy diagnosis in 2011 proved to be very challenging with both racing and life. Fortunately Jen was able to get her seizures under control and went on to have a perfectly healthy son and pursue her career in triathlon. Since turning full time pro in 2015, she has had many podium finishes, bike course records, and an (unofficial) bike world record for the ironman distance. She strives to use her story and success in triathlon to inspire others.

Q & A

  • What are three of your pet peeves? Toilet paper rolls replaced the wrong way, shoes not put away on the shoe rack and just left in a heap infront of the door, containers/jars put back in the fridge with only a drop left in them!
  • If you have an extra day every week, how would you spend it? I would like to say that I would do nothing, but realistically I don’t have the “do nothing” personality! I would probably spend it getting caught up on stuff or doing something fun with the fam!
  • Favorite workout: Long ride days! No matter how hard or easy it is, I love long rides!
  • Things I can’t live without: Coffee, wine, family!
  • Wildest memory/moment from competing: Probably when I got hit by a media motorbike in Kona 2019. It was the most unbelievably crushing moment.

"The ProPerformance Recovery System. As a very busy mom, full time triathlete, coach and also working part time, spending extra time on recovery is very hard. This recovery system allows me to get proper recovery while relaxing and getting some down time. The pressure these boots provide is amazing and helps my tired and sore legs get ready for the next day of work so I can get the work done!"
